Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) helps families with the costs of child care. Families must meet eligibility criteria to get CCS. The amount of CCS a family can get depends on their circumstances.
How does it work?

CCS gets paid directly to Canning Bridge ELC. Families only pay the difference between their subsidy received and our fees.

Who can get it?

To get Child Care Subsidy (CCS) you must:

  • care for a child 13 or younger who’s not attending secondary school, unless an exemption applies
  • use an approved child care service
  • be responsible for paying the child care fees
  • meet residency and immunisation requirements.
  • do a recognised activity
What circumstances impact my CCS?

 Services Australia looks at:

  • a family’s income
  • how many children a family has in care
  • the age of the children in care
  • a family’s activity level
  • the type of care a family uses
How much will I get?
